Beginning
of Class Procedures
Class
time Procedures
To obtain the
teacher’s attention during class discussion or individual study time, use
the following hand signals until the teacher acknowledges your request with
a nod:
*
Raise the index finger= “I wish to speak.”
* Raise two fingers= “I wish to leave my seat.”
*
Raise three fingers= “I need your help.”
To give the
teacher your undivided attention, you will hear “Give me five”,
accompanied be a raised hand. “GIVE ME FIVE”:
1.
Eyes on speaker 2. Mouth quiet
3. Being still 4. Hands free 5. Listening
Respond to
“give me five” by verbally counting to five in unison with the class and
mentally listing the five steps.
